I’m Vasily Ryabov - a venture consultant, founder, board member and investor. I work with startups and organisations that are building something useful.
What I do
Strategy is only useful when it helps you make the next decision.
I support founders, investors and organisations with venture development, advisory boards, market validation, EU funding and the delivery of funded projects. The work is direct, evidence-led and shaped around what the situation actually needs.
Experience
A mix of research, boards and having actually tried it.
Education & research
Degrees in International Economics and Relations and Technology Entrepreneurship from DTU. My thesis examined advisory boards in B2B startups.
Boards & funded projects
Board experience, including as chair. Experience applying for EU grants and running EU-funded projects, with cooperation across DTU Entrepreneurship.
Founder, including the hard parts
I have founded several startups. A couple failed. That experience matters: it makes the advice practical and keeps the language honest.
Early recognition
Raised prototype funding through DTU X-Tech+ and a Micro Grant from the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship. Audience Favourite at UCPH Health Innovators and health-category runner-up at the 2024 National Startup Competition.
